I was amused to see that's Dictionary.com's Word of the Day for today, Jan. 1, 2009 is wanderlust. Wanderlust: a strong desire to wander or travel, drives my life. My car may be old, my kitchen may desparately need a remodel but I can guarantee the first priority for spending in my household is travel. Fortunately my husband & I see eye-to-eye on this one, only the cat seems to dissent.
Seeing my home country in 2008 was a wonderful opportunity. Some states were only brief stops along the way, while I able to linger in others. I want to continue to explore the US but there's also a entire planet beckoning. I've been very fortunate to have set foot in dozens of countries but I want to go EVERYWHERE!
I started the New Year by having John draw select five states randomly that I will explore more deeply in 2009.
I will also focus on the A destinations of the world.
Check back to to discover the details my next hare-brained scheme...
